Salt Lake City, UT – 29 August 2017 – Domotz, a leading provider of remote monitoring and management systems, today announced that the award-winning Domotz Pro™ application is now available with lifetime licensing. A lifetime license is one of several enhancements to the Domotz business model the company is announcing in conjunction with the upcoming CEDIA Expo in an effort to simplify and improve upon the overall Domotz experience.
Under the new program, in addition to still having the option to “pay as you go” via the company’s established monthly credit program, Domotz installers and service providers can now purchase a one-time lifetime license for their customer installations. This gives them more flexibility in how they pay for and monetize service offerings.
“Offering a lifetime license is in direct response to installer requests for simpler, friction-free onboarding and long-term servicing of their customers,” said Clark Roundy, CEO of Domotz. “With a single purchase price and no ongoing fees, we’ve made it easy for pro-installers and managed service providers to include advanced monitoring and management services with every project.”
For pro-installers and managed service providers that prefer the “pay as you go” method, Domotz credits will continue to be offered via the company’s Marketplace online store. The company also announced that the purchase of Domotz credits will be restructured under a tiered (volume) pricing model. Customers purchasing account credits in quantity will be able to receive up to a 50% discount off the single-unit credit price.
Availability and Launch
Lifetime Domotz Pro licensing will be available in September from the Domotz Marketplace for both new and existing installations. Updated tiered credit pricing will go into effect in October of 2017.
